Tasty bite size rolls, perfect for as appetizer or party dish. A quick and easy recipe, packed with flavor!
Ingredients
1 package of rice paper
1 package Pescavore Tuna tidbits, broken into bite-size pieces
1 jalapeño sliced thinly, optional
1 avocado sliced thinly
1 tsp vegetable oil for cutting board; ½ cup vegetable oil for cooking
For the sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp honey
1 clove of garlic, minced
2-3 tsp ginger, peeled and grated
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
To prepare the sauce, whisk together all ingredients and set aside.
Prepare a large shallow bowl with warm water, and brush 1 tsp vegetable oil on a clean cutting board so your rolls don’t stick.
Dip one rice paper sheet in water for a few seconds, turning to cover entire sheet and shake off excess water. Don’t over soak. Place it on the oiled cutting board.
Place a piece or two of the tuna in the middle of the sheet, a slice or two of jalapeño, a slice or two of avocado. Fold one side over the ingredients and then follow with the other sides, creating a package. It will form a closed square-shape.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook each package until golden brown on each side. Transfer to a paper towel to drain for a few seconds and serve with dipping sauce.
